The renovation of the historic Paramount Theater, located right on the LIU campus will expand access to world class performances even further. LIU Brooklyn offers the Ph.D. in Psychology, and the Doctor of Pharmacy Professional Program (Pharm.D.). The campus also provides an array of health and fitness resources, including the ultra-modern Steinberg Center for Health and Wellness.
LIU Brooklyn, School of Business, Public Administration and Information Sciences invites applications for a full-time faculty position in accounting to begin Fall 2019. Experience and education will determine the rank and whether or not the position will be tenure track. For applicants with a C.P.A. license and a graduate degree, the position will be non-tenure track. For applicants with a Ph.D. and a degree in accounting, a record of effective teaching, and an established record of publications, the position will be tenure track. While candidates in any area will be considered, candidates should have a background sufficient to teach a variety of financial accounting and/or tax courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates will be expected to teach, engage in research leading to quality publications in peer reviewed journals (with exceptions if non-tenure track) and other intellectual contributions, and provide an appropriate level of service to the School.
