The opportunity

As we work to lead through industry disruptors and opportunities, the Americas Markets Transformation Management Office (TMO) will play a critical role in managing the many transformational initiatives spanning efficiency projects to new product implementations. As a key member of the TMO, the Business Process Analyst and Project Manager will serve a key role on multiple transformation initiatives providing process design expertise in the design of processes.  S/he will analyze existing processes to uncover inefficiencies, lead process design improvement workshops, and guide teams in the creation of improved processes.  S/he will build process excellence methods and tools.  S/he will work with various resources on transformation projects including functional and technical subject matter experts, project managers, and organization change management team members.  When not utilized in the process design capacity, s/he will project manager transformation or efficiency projects or support the Transformation Management Office via the development of project management processes and assist in the build and management of the Workfront platform for the Americas Markets Transformation Management Office.

This role is critical in the execution of all transformation initiatives across the Americas Markets. S/he will partner with many leaders and personnel within Americas Markets, supporting functions, and enterprise functions to efficiently design or redesign business processes and thus must have a balance of persistence and drive coupled with strong partnering skills.

The responsibilities:

Business Process Design

  • Analyze a functional area or stream’s business processes to find opportunities to drive efficiencies
  • Host process design workshops as part of a larger transformation project to produce to-be, efficient processes
  • Build process maps leveraging JLL process mapping tools including swim lanes
  • Educate subject matter experts on the revised processes
  • Optimize processes and identify opportunities for automation

Project Management

  • Builds and maintains detailed transformation project plans in Workfront, status reports, and other required documentation as appropriate to manage transformation interdependencies across initiatives and associated streams.
  • Supports TMO Leader in the structuring of projects and collateral in Workfront
  • Establishes project in Workfront with all appropriate personnel permissions
  • Tracks all tasks and deliverables on the project to ensure they are completed on-time and of high quality
  • Tracks all key milestones and alerts leadership if any are at risk
  • Identify and track all issues and risks, actively working to resolve and mitigate them
  • Escalate critical issues, risks, and key decisions required while adhering to relevant escalation processes
  • Update Markets roadmap information as needed
  • Partner with broader Americas team members to gather project status and incorporate into consolidated roadmaps
  • Produces all critical project management key deliverables such as project charters, project plans, workplans, status reports, and more
  • Ensure each efficiency project contains a value capture process to measure and track savings against plan; partner with a benefits realization expert to track the ongoing progress
  • Continuously improve project management tools and methodologies used to support the transformation initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of increasingly responsible experience in business process design and reengineering
  • Experience with six sigma or lean business process design methods
  • Knowledge of and preferably experience with robotic process automation
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transformation project management managing projects that contain business process design, change in operating models, and automation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels in the organization
