Outstanding NYC based information services firm is seeking a Controller. Reporting to the CFO, this is an exciting opportunity for a CPA to expand their background across a broad set of financial functions. Will act as the primary interface with the company's corporate accounting function and the divisional finance leads . Will coordinate planning and reporting functions. You will be ensuring financial statements are in accordance with GAAP, reporting company performance, coordinating planning processes, and consolidating forecasts. Ensure compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley. Support monthly financial close Balance sheet and P&L analysis/reconciliation Enhance financial analysis and reporting activities Develop cost reduction and cost management initiatives Coordinate budgets and forecasts. Manage monthly and quarterly results reporting.


CPA degree in Accounting 15+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience. Prior Big Four Accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and its application to business issues. Including experience with ASC 606 rules around revenue recognition for services and software products. Experience in technology services and e-commerce preferred. Exceptional financial analysis skills and attention to details Expert Excel skills. Reporting activities will require ability to quickly obtain Oracle General Ledger mastery, as well as proficiency querying a number of Oracle and proprietary databases using SQL
