The San Francisco 49ers are looking for an experienced and motivated team player committed to delivering the highest level of customer service to fill the role of Director, Accounting.
The Director, Accounting will be responsible for financial management and reporting, oversight of football and Levi’s Stadium events accounting, and stadium financing reporting requirements. The role will both oversee a group of internal accountants as well as manage the relationship with the 49ers’ external CPA firm. Additionally, the successful candidate will coordinate the successful audits for both the team and the stadium management company. The position needs to be a self-starter who can drive areas of work within day to day oversight. The role will require strong technical skills and experience of operating in a highly regulated and scrutinized industry. It will also require excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the franchise, stadium lenders, and the NFL League Office.
