Our client, a leading consulting firm and Best Places to Work winner, seeks a Sales Executive for its Washington DC territory. It's an exciting opportunity to join an established firm and help grow the company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify, qualify and pursue new sales opportunities at prospects and select existing client accounts.
  • Organize and execute a multifaceted sales plan, including cold-calling, phone, fax, email and mail campaigns, to effectively make direct contact with prospects.
  • Develop winning strategies and build effective and collaborative relationships with the key decision-makers within the prospect organizations.
  • Participate in trade organizations and informal networks to develop, build and sustain a robust set of professional relationships.
  • Partners with marketing and other company professionals, to execute events and other outreach campaigns  and to move prospects through all stages of the sales process.
  • Conduct client presentations and negotiations, as well as, participate in pricing strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 plus years of sales/business development experience with professional services and/or complex solutions selling. 
  • Big Four, advisory and/or consulting experience is a plus.
  • Proven record of success in building new relationships and closing new sales with executive-level business buyers.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, sales/business development, and client engagement skills.
  • High energy with strong drive and ability to conduct extensive local business travel.
