  • Another Source's client, Nth Degree CPAs, is recruiting a Senior Accountant to join the team in their Seattle office. The Senior Accountant will be consulting on and managing the outsourced accounting functions for the firm’s clients, which range from bookkeeping through CFO-level support.

In this role you will:

  • Execute accurate and timely accounting and finance recommendations to business clients. 
  • Communicate thoroughly and proactively with clients regarding their financial results, trends, and other matters that would impact their decision making.
  • Identify strategic opportunities for clients. Create and maintain accounting policies and procedures. 
  • Assist in creating new financial goals for clients. Lead accounting clean-up projects and accounting training. 

Oversee review of accounting fundamentals: 

  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly accounting entry Reconciliations and month-close procedures.
  • Prepare and file state and local B&O taxes Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly financial reports for clients including operation suggestions, trends, cash flow projections, etc. Proactively manage projects (i.e., budgets, timelines and client relationships).
  • Keep abreast of changes in industry regulations and developing own competency through continuing education and by obtaining additional professional certifications.
  • Mentor staff on all things accounting. Carry out special projects for the CEO, COO and their staff.


What you bring to the team: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting CPA License (Active).
  •  2-3+ years progressive experience in public accounting in audit, and/or internal accounting/finance reporting role.
  •  Fundamental knowledge of GAAP Detail and deadline oriented.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent review notes and documentation skills.
  • Aptitude for research Strong communication skills and a knack for explaining complex ideas in simple terms. 
  • Strong desire for continuous education and innovation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor.
  • Motivated by the opportunity to serve the business community.
  • Doesn’t have all the answers but doesn’t view that as an obstacle when confronted with an issue.
  • Doesn't consider themselves to be the stereotypical 'Accountant.'
