As a business partner, Internal Audit helps Keysight accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

As Senior Audit Data Analytics Specialist, you will play a significant lead role in increasing our focus on data analytics and developing a program to use data analytics to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our audit process and continuous monitoring.  You will be a contributing and leading team member of a dynamic internal audit team that embraces collaboration and innovation.

In this role, you will work closely with Internal Audit Management, Finance teams and business partners, particularly the IT Department. We are searching for a highly experienced Senior Audit Data Analytics Specialist who is based in Colorado Springs, CO or Santa Rosa, CA.  The person will also lead and participate in audits/consulting engagements of Keysight’s businesses/financial/IT processes and controls. The position has the opportunity to travel worldwide 30 - 35% within a year.

Required skills/experience:

  • Ability to collect and analyze complex data, evaluating information and drawing logical conclusions, identifying red flags or unusual trends for business processes and information systems.
  • Ability to quickly understand business context, problems, and objectives.
  • Experience in working with extremely large and complex data sets.
  • Experience in developing and implementing analytical frameworks and programs to conduct analytics for audit, monitoring and investigations.
  • Ability to develop analytics/data models and queries based on different scenarios and audit objectives from start to finish.
  • Knowledge on how to streamline audit processes by automating audit testing procedures.
  • Experience with planning and executing data conversion, data mapping and data reconciliation activities.
  • Experience in leading and coordinating a diverse audit team. Intellectual curiosity and an extreme attention to details.
  • Eager to build solutions from scratch.
  • Experience leveraging audit technology, data analysis tools and techniques, business intelligence and data warehousing.
  • Skill in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to interface with senior management.
  • Ability to execute audit programs, communicate issues in terms of business risk, clearly and concisely articulate findings, discuss value added recommendations with management and provide written recommendations.
  • Ability to lead department trainings related to data collection and analysis and track key performance indicators to evaluate success of data analysis initiatives.
  • Knowledge and experience in Information System and Security practices, techniques and tools are a plus. - Strong English communication skills including both written and verbal.

Requirements

 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, Statistics or related field.
  • Experience or knowledge of data analytics in an audit environment is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge in Finance/ Accounting or Information Technologies is a plus.
  • Relevant professional certifications are CISA, CIA, CFE, CPA. Must be an US citizen in order to access and assess US government related data.
  • Working knowledge of data extraction, access and analysis tools such as IDEA, ACL, Tableau, SQL, Oracle or Python.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word. PowerPoint, MicroSoft Access, etc.).
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 10 -12 years of working experience in advanced application of data analytics techniques and tools in a complex business environment, including the application of general statistical concepts against large volumes of data and supporting audits for medium to large corporate environments (public companies preferred).
