Pierce Appointed National Tax Industry Leader — Industrial Manufacturing

We are pleased to announce that Jerry Pierce has been appointed National Tax Industry Leader for Industrial Manufacturing, succeeding Hans Flick and Ken Seel, effective immediately.

Jerry has served as the Aerospace and Defense Tax Industry Leader for the past six years, a role he will continue in. Throughout his career at KPMG, Jerry has demonstrated a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry and extensive capabilities in market development. His success leading high-performing teams and creating an inclusive culture will serve him well in his new role.

About Jerry Pierce

Jerry started his career in audit with Arthur Andersen & Co. and has been with KPMG for more than 30 years. He currently serves as the global lead partner on a key acount and lead tax partner on other key accounts.

Jerry is also a senior lead tax partner and leader in the Washington Metro area for government contracting and air transportation. In addition, he has extensive experience serving education companies.

Jerry holds a B.A. degree in accounting from James Madison University and a Master’s degree in business administration from George Mason University. He is a past member of the Executive Advisory Council to the School of Business at James Madison University and is a current board member of the Dean’s Council for the School of Business at George Mason University.
