Doughtie, Rodriguez and Whalen recognized for boardroom leadership

As a testament to KPMG’s commitment to strong corporate governance, the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) has named Chairman and CEO Lynne Doughtie to its annual Directorship 100 list, for the fifth consecutive year.

The NACD recognizes leading corporate directors, corporate governance experts, policymakers, and influencers who significantly impact boardroom practices and performance. Joining Lynne on the list this year are Jose Rodriguez, Audit partner and leader of the KPMG Audit Committee Institute, and Dennis Whalen, leader of the KPMG Board Leadership Center. Rodriguez and Whalen have also appeared on the list multiple times.

The 2019 Directorship 100 includes 50 public company directors and 50 governance professionals and institutions who exemplify integrity, mature confidence, informed judgement, and high performance standards.

The awards will be given in June, at a gala in New York City, during which the NACD will honor the recipients for their service as role models in promoting exemplary board leadership, oversight, and courage in the boardroom.
