Jerry Maginnis to serve as Retired Partner Council Chair

KPMG is pleased to announce that Jerry Maginnis (pictured) has taken on the role of Retired Partner Council Chair through 2020.

Jerry joined the Council in 2016 after retiring in 2015.  During his time at the firm, Jerry led the growth and success of the firm's audit, tax and advisory practices in Philadelphia and served as the Philadelphia Office Managing Partner and Partner in Charge of KPMG's Audit Practice in Pennsylvania.

Currently, Jerry is a member of the Board and the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Funds comprising the Cohen & Steers Mutual Fund Complex.  He is also a member of the Board of Trustees and serves as the Treasurer of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Foundation and is the "Accounting Executive in Residence" at Rowan University where he is helping prepare students for their transition from academia into the workforce.

Jerry also serves as a member of the Board of the Faith in the Future Foundation, an organization focusing on sustaining and enhancing the Catholic Education at secondary schools in the Philadelphia area.  Additionally, Jerry is a Past President of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and is a member of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission.  He has served on a number of non-profit boards including Gwynedd Mercy University, St. Joseph's Prep, the CEO Council of Growth, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and the Union League of Philadelphia.
